Working closely with Velux, the Castlethorpe Homes kitchen at The Stirrups shows how light and fresh air can be added to a room with some clever and considered design.
The kitchen/breakfast room was designed to create a wow factor and really creates volume to the room. Thanks to help from Velux, they were able to run this room through a computer simulation and advise on ways to add additional light and fresh air through the glazing and roof windows to create an entertaining space that works as one with the garden and outside space.
The health benefits of light and fresh air are well documented and Castlethorpe Homes work hard to bring much needed natural light and health benefits to their award-winning new homes.
