Working with suppliers and manufacturers and understanding the latest products, pooling our expertise ensures that our developments are always moving forward. On our latest project we have been reviewing the plasterboard and paint specifications (and working with British Gypsum and Dulux) to learn about what is new and what is best suited for the home owner. Plasterboard and paint might not sound as exciting as ‘Kitchens & Bathrooms’ but these are in every room, they are surrounding you whenever you are at home, even while you sleep!

We are reviewing our specification to incorporate ‘Pure Finish Plaster’ in the bedrooms, this absorbs VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) from the air and improves air quality, combined with Dulux Airsure on bedroom ceilings (which is over 98% VOC free). This means better air purity whilst you and your family sleep! – We are also looking to put ‘Scuff Shield’ paint in high traffic areas of our latest homes (like hallways and utility rooms), this ensures that the walls are much more durable with scrub and stain resistance for those discarded boots after a muddy walk or excited pets.
